What is Microsuede?

Suede is a form of leather made from the underside of animal skins. It is comparatively softer and less durable than full grain leather, but many prefer suede for its softness in certain applications, such as gloves and other clothing.

Microsuede is a term for Microfiber that is woven to look like real suede, and it is especially suited making comforters.

Microsuede is sold under the brand names Ultrasuede and Alcantara
